The Philosophy Politics and Economics Society at Ashoka University aims to bridge the gap between the disciplines, within and outside of the university. The discipline, albeit interdisciplinary in its nature, is fundamentally viewed from a unitary or binary lens that obscures its true interconnectedness. The true depth of the discipline lies in its ability to inspire thought – the society wishes to carry forward this flame of thought. The society aims to manifest its goals primarily through four ideas: an international journal, research clusters as well as reading groups and the symposium of professors amongst other things.
