May-July 2021

Work Completed:


1. Emergency Academic Accommodations, Proposal for Optional Finals and Delayed Evaluation Policy during the extended Spring semester 2021:

  • Closed meeting with the House of Representatives on 2 May 2021 to discuss the proposals for emergency academic accommodations.

  • Collated a list of courses across departments (via AAB student representatives) that had assigned coursework during the extended reading period and sent it to OAA.

  • Open meeting with HoR and Student body on 2 May 2021 to present updates on MAA demands to OAA, discuss new addendums and gauge student concerns.

  • Closed Meeting with OAA and HoR to discuss clarifications and suggestions regarding Delayed Evaluation Policy and proposal for optional finals on 6 May 2021.

  • Held in

  • formal Office Hours with HoR to address concerns regarding Delayed Evaluation Policy on 6th, 7th, 8th May 2021.

2. Worked on website updates:

  • Created policy FAQs and sent them to the OAA for approval.

  • Updated the website with the new team and AAB representatives

  • Created a new logo

3. Convocation for Delayed Evaluation students

  • Students whose grades are submitted by 24th July will be included in the Convocation Ceremony scheduled for 31st July 2021.


Work-in-Progress:

  1. Appointment of a new minister

  2. Planning for the upcoming Academic Fair (scheduled to happen in the Orientation Week).
